Dream Lake

Clear alpine water and the quiet of the high country drew Jeff to this lake while hiking near Estes Park, Colorado. Beautiful scenes surrounded him in every direction. Why this one held his attention remains, for him, part of the mystery of painting.

Dream Lake carries that recognition of an individual eye at work. Jeff imagines ten painters stopping in the same place and returning with ten different paintings. The landscape offers its beauty freely, while each person finds a different reason to stay and look.
