Heavy Snow

After an overnight blizzard, Jeff looked through the north window of his home and found this spruce weighted with snow. Its branches bowed beneath the accumulation. Cold blue light and a deep silence had changed the familiar view.

The sight decided how he would spend the next several hours. Heavy Snow began with that immediate response to what the storm had left outside. Jeff stayed with the spruce, its burdened boughs, and the stillness of the morning.
