Sectio Divina

Sectio Divina is Jeff's homage to the mystery he finds in proportion. His starting point is the golden section, the relationship in which a smaller part relates to a larger part as that larger part relates to the whole. He connects that idea with the long artistic search for balance.

The curve of a ram's horn gives his reflection a natural form. Geometry becomes something to contemplate through its shape, rather than an answer that explains away its beauty. Jeff returns to wonder at the patterns that seem to connect the visible world.
