Winter Fire Pit

The fire pit outside Jeff's bedroom window came with the cabin that later became his home. Built by the family before them, it served through many evenings in every season. It was also the place where he painted Bonfire.

Winter Fire Pit turns to the same place late at night, after fresh snow has covered it. The old stones remain as a ring around the memory of warmer gatherings. Jeff was drawn to that familiar setting transformed by snow and complete silence.
